Hi!!! My name is Shaina and I'm a sophmore but feel like a freshman. I like to sing and I like theatre although I only resently discovered that theatre is addictive. Oh, well. hi... my name is carly and i'm a freshman. i have played the piano for about 8 years, im horrible at sight reading but surprisingly good at music theory. my favorite color is purple, but only if it's a nice deep dark purple. no lavender. i love music, my favorite singer right now is kate nash. oh, and i sew, stencil, screenprint, and make jewelry. i just recently made a body form of myself (thanks naomi for helping!) which makes it so much easier to alter/make clothes. mostly alter at the moment. and i desperately want a serger. for those who don't know what that is, its a type of sewing machine which is used to sew knits so they can still stretch. but no one cares. what am i talking about? i tend to rant, so allowing to post on this blog might not be the best idea. let's see... i'm a geek. and i love star trek! but i won't rant about that right now, because people tend to run away when i do.

Hi I'm Monisha White and I'm a freshman at Gunn and I play volleyball and soccer (as goalie) and I'm in Treble Choir. I have a cat named George who's really awesome and survived lymphoma and I have a snake named Cobbo. My brother is Nathan and he's a junior and he's in Mr. Lib's music theory class and I have a sister who went to Gunn but now she's finishing college at Stanford. I like to eat...a lot.. It's one of my favorite hobbies =) I have a lot of homework which is really annoying because I like to sleep and it doesn't let me do that very well.. especially on Wednesday's because I have soccer and volleyball practice...but soon I won't have both. Oh yeah and I'm only 13 and my birthday's not until January 30th which sucks because I'm not gonna be able to drive until like..a long time, which is way after everyone else )=  Well, yeah that's it!

Hi, my name is Mingming. I'm a sophomore at Gunn this year and I'm one of the only sophs in treble choir (: I'm half chinese and on my dad's side I'm mostly Italian and also German, ScotchIrish, and Native American. I like mostly every color thats not dull and muddy, but my favorites are yellow and blue. In my spare time I like to eat, sleep, swim, talk, laugh, sing, dance, etc. I play the piano and I have been since I was 6. I'm 16 years old and I just got my permitttt :D And basically I really like choir and I really like lifeee in general right now.

BLOG!!!

HI i'm Julia Li and I went to Terman and I go to Gunn right now and I have a brother that just graduated Gunn and he goes to USC which I think is a reaaaalllyy cool university I went to visit him and i was reading To Kill A Mockingbird the whole time i finished it which I think is a good book but everyone else thinks it's super boring! I like being weird and also having weird friends because they don't make me feel weird they make me feel normal even though i KNOW I'm being weird because i think it's funner than being normal like everyone else. i have a dog and her name is AMY AND I LOVE HER SO MUCH she is so beautiful and she is the greatest dog ever. YAAAYY! And also i hate homework because it's so stressful and it's hard for me to focus on studying. i really like brownies but only thin ones. I AM SAD FOR 1.5 years and I LIKE MY NERD GLASSES!
AND MR. LIBERATORE THINKS I'M OBNOXIOUS AND I'M NOT!(:

I HATE ICE!!!!!!!!! and i really like the color purple and yellow but not together i also like emerald green and also teal or blue AND pitch black OR really clean white. BUT I REALLY LIKE SUPER BRIGHT NEON COLORS A LOT TOO!
i have A's in my classes and i'm proud of that! YAY and i like jokes because they are so funny i laugh at a lot of things because i'm an open-minded person and I LOVE FUNNY THINGS!

Hmmm...introduce myself, right?
Well, My name is Naomi Pederson, and I'm not Jewish, I'm Japanese. My mother is 100% Japanese, and so is the rest of my family on her side, so I'm learning Japanese right now so I can talk to them. My father is a mix of a ton of European countries, so....I don't know what else to call him but white. I have one brother named Ken, and no, he does not date Barbie...
He is a junior at Gunn as well, so he tells me which teachers to look out for, and which teachers to hope for.
I also have a dog named Kuro(but it's pronounced like the candy bar Kudo), which means the colour black in Japanese(my mother picked out her name). She's a black labrador, but I'm not sure, because we got her from the shelter(if you really want a pet, there are too many homeless animals out there for you to ignore, so get one from your nearest shelter), when she was only a few months old.

Oh, I love to read. Absolutely, possitively love to read. I own almost every single book I've ever read, which some people may say it's weird, but I always reread all my books, so I've read each of my books about 2 to 20 times each. My favorite book is Cast in Shadows, which I think everyone should read--well, not everyone, cause (no offense) if everyone read it like they read Twilight, I would probably burn the book...I hate Twilight...well, I liked the first book, hated the second, and now with everyone reading it, I know exactly whats happening, and it really does ruin the joy in reading a new book--cause its not very new in the mind anymore.
Yes, I know I'm babbaling, but since there is no limit to how much I can write(I think), I'm probably going to write even more...muahahhahahahhaa
Well, I absolutely love music. Every single form a music(except rap, which I dont qualify as music--well, maybe dancing music, but not music), and I love to play the piano(with one hand) and listen to music as often as possible(like right now=)) I love singing, but I'm really sad that I can't sing my favorite type of music(broadway and rock/alternative), because my voice isn't suited to it, but that's okay. I sing it anyway(my brother hates me for it)!
let's see....Oh! I have a facebook, and gtalk, if anyone uses it, ADD ME!!! I check almost everyday(since my brother is on the computer like 24/7, unless my dad yells at him to let me use it).
Oh, and by the way, if anyone was wondering why in the beginning I said that I'm not Jewish, I'm Japanese, it's because Naomi is both a Japanese and a Jewish name, so some people keep asking me if I'm Jewish.
Whew! That's a lot of information. Well, I'll hopefully get to know some of you guys better over the year! I have two siblings and they both are old enough to be out of the house... I love to sing, hence me being in Choir. Now, i'll be really embarrassed if i wasn't suppose to write here. I am Delia Gratta, and the spell check is telling me I wrote my name wrong...

I am a Frosh, and so far High school is fun but hard and requires late nights and early mornings...

I love to read, and I hate the fact that I haven't even had the time to finish one non school related book since the beginning of the school year, I also love to sing, which is sort of a prerequisite for choir so ya... I took piano a long time ago and then switched to violin but with all the homework and stuff, I haven't had a chance to play a single note... I like to do a lot of stuff, and I hate being bored, so I make jewelry, embroider, take pictures, draw, build stuff, just anything that requires my hands to  be doing something, otherwise I fidget endlessly. I am also very opinionated (so don't ever cross me... :p) and am thus in MUN (Model United Nations) and it is eating up my weekends! but its fun anyway... lastly, I sing to my computer (garage band) all the time, but the songs always end up being really sad so I have no idea what will come out this time. We shall see...

Im a freshman and so far i lovee gunn. i play acoustic guitar and have been for four years. i also take voice lessons and have for a couple months. i love singing and writing songs. i also do kickboxing with some of my friends but we havent been going since it was summer and all that... i am quite girly and love shopping and all that fun stuff...but not excessivly. i have a brother named blake who is 16 and hes really cool and we are very diffent (he cant play a chord and i cant throw a football) but i look up to him alot. i also have a standard poodle named bruiser and i love him to death. i also love all my friends soo much and i love hanging out and laughing with them, and i am very outgoing. so anywayy that a little about me, see you at schooll.

Hi everyone. Having fun facebooking and not posting? =D


The name's Cecillia Wong though some of you may know me as Ceci, and I'm a freshman this year. Like every other high school kid I know, I have an AIM SN[xcecigotskizzelz; ADD ME], facebook account[against my parents concern], and spent about 5 hours on the computer a day[school day. Don't even get me started on weekends or holidays. -_-]On weekends and holidays, I practically spend the entire day online.

I started playing the piano since I was about seven years old. Sadly, due to my lack of time, I was forced to go on and off and only spent about 3 or 4 years in total actually taking lessons. For the last two years, since moving to Palo Alto in the seventh grade, I've been unable to play piano because my parents went on a month long trip to Europe[LUCKY PARENTS, and during the school year too] and I couldn't find an instuctor. If you're currently taking piano or know a good teacher, drop me a line. It'd be muchly appreciated.

As for singing, I've always been a singer at heart. In the second grade, I was chosen for a solo part singing the first four lines of God Bless America, mainly because I had a loud voice. Looking back, I think it was a pretty good experience though I'd probably make a face that looks like this -> 0.0 if someone asked me to sing solo in front of the whole school.

Lets add some interesting facts shall we?

I'm allergic to chocolate which reallly, really sucks since chocolate is tasty and tasty=good. I don't break into hives or anything, but after a piece of chocolate, I start coughing alot. T.T I think badminton is the greatest sport ever. I pretty much suck at volleyball so I'll stick to cheering you Varsity V-Ball players out there on the sidelines.

So, someone out there go and post some info about themselves. I wrote wayy too much for mine.
